Facing the Open Sea, With Spring Warm and Flowers Blooming
Andrea Lingenfelter 译
Starting tomorrow, I’ll be a happy man
Feeding horses, splitting firewood, roaming around the world
Starting tomorrow, I’ll think about grain and greens
I’ll have a house, facing the open sea, with spring warm and flowers blooming
Starting tomorrow, I’ll begin to exchange letters with a kinsman
And tell them all of my happiness
What the lightening flash of happiness tells me
I will tell each person in turn
I’ll give every river and every mountain a name that’s warm
Stranger, I’ll wish you blessings as well
Wishing for you a brilliant future
Wishing for you a lover you’ll marry one day
Wishing that you will find happiness in this impure world
All I want is to face the open sea, with spring warm and flowers blooming |
